The Scan 100 is an elegantly simple manual colony counter remarkable for its ease of use and ergonomic design. The LED lighting system with Dark Field technology produces contrasted hi-fidelity view of the colonies. The integrated USB port allows exporting of results to a spread sheet for computerized record keeping and traceability.The tactile-surface of the Scan® 100 automatically compensate the Petri dish weight. The sensitivity is adjustable with a single button in front of the unit. The LED light sources are arranged in a circular pattern behind and around the dish. This provides wide angle illumination of the colonies and reduces eye fatigue for the observer.
