Compressed Air: Relative Humidity Temperature and Dew Point

Compressed air is often required to have a low humidity level. Measuring the dew point (DP) of water vapour in the compressed air that circulates in the system has many advantages. The HP480 and HP481 probes are designed specifically for this purpose.


  • Prevents corrosion of metal pipes.
  • Prevents the formation of ice inside pipes which can lead to obstruction of the pipes.
  • Prevents bacterial growth.
  • Reduces maintenance costs of pneumatic drives, by maintaining the proper lubrication of moving parts.
  • Improves the quality of products coming in contact with the air.
